Your participation in a trial is much like an ordinary office or virtual visit. You will see the investigator (physician) or other members of the study team for health assessments, physical exams, laboratory tests, x-rays, or other procedures required by the study protocol; all at no cost to you. Often, compensation for your time and travel is available.
